News has been slow in the world of Monster Hunter the past little while.
Japan has seen the release of the Monster Hunter 3G for the 3DS. Japan has also seen the release of the Vita. It is safe to say that the Vita is flopping, and it truly needs a Monster Hunter title to get people in Japan interested.
I would not say that the Vita is out of the market yet, it has been common in past years for a system to flop in one area and sell strong in another.
Maybe a English port of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd could breath some life into the Vita when it finally hits everyone else’s shores?

I think we have a better chance of getting MH3G on the 3DS and if anything on Vita it will be Portable 3rd.
so 3g will be on the VITA also?..I figured but could never find and info on it. I have seen MHP3rd on the vita, but that was just bringing it over from the psp through japan’s PSN.
No word on that and I don’t see them porting MH3G to the vita. We will prob see MH3G on the 3DS, or MHP3rd on the vita. If it takes this long to get them to translate a game I would not expect them to spend the time porting it to a complete diff console.
Maybe Sony will keep the portable series and make MHP3G where Nintendo has MH3G. Well either way hope to see some monster hunter game outside of Japan.
