I don’t want a mobile phone Monster Hunter game. I want smart A.I., lush environments, and realistic eco systems, enriched by the repetitive and addictive village themes, epic battles, racing hearts and endless forging, mining, grinding and customisation. Not health bars for monsters, crap graphics, stupid mobile phone noises, lack of mini games and extras. Above all, epicness is a must = Monster Hunter, the most epic game series there is.
True story! I think that once the gaming industry looks to the mobile phone as a primary console, that’s the day that everyone who loves good and epic games will be screwed over.
-Sorry for double posting- The only thing that I don’t mind is that MH4 will (or at least has been announced for) the 3DS. What else would it be good on? The WiiU is going to be the most worthless piece or garbage the world has ever seen and Microsoft and Sony are releasing next gen systems so that leaves the console options down to WiiU (not to mention that Nintendo already has it for 3DS so they can’t multi-platform it)
instead of hurrying dev, just publish your games outside japan… that should generate enough financing to not rush future dev… (dumbas*)
Although games could be good for mobile (like phantasy star online 2) and lord knows my favorite mobile game is monster hunter without more global releases the only thing that capcom will get is more damage from piracy because why import games they refuse to release to anyone else when you can pirate them. there only hurting themselves by thinking so closed mindedly
everybody wants things done faster these days. Nobody can appreciate the value of craftsmanship, especially capcom in most regards. Games are falling victim to a sense of “fast-food” styled industry, and I’m okay with not eating it.
You’d still go to subway tho. Healthy AND Fast right? not that hard to get both. Especially when you make as much money as they do.
as long as they spend their time wisely on what makes a game fun and not on meaningless stuff and ends up being fun: I don’t care how long it takes to develop.
