GREE and Capcom are planning a release of what seems to be a new installment of Monster Hunter Dynamic Hunting. The game will be called Monster Hunter: Massive Hunting. It will play with touch and flick control, have many of the monsters from past Monster Hunter games, and allow hunters to build new weapons and armour.
It is expected to have a social aspect to the game, but no real info has been released on what “friend hunting” will include.
No ETA on a release date, but it will be available for Android and iOS devices later this year in Japan.

This seems to be a lot like “Dynamic Hunting” just with a more social/multiplayer aspect, I actually enjoyed Dynamic Hunting and will probably pick this up as well. I just hope this is not the only announcement for the West Capcom has planned. Also Capcom has stated in the past they wanted to exspand more into the App market, this seems to be their way of doing it.

If this is that announcement we were supposed to “look forward to before the end of the year” there won’t be any more troll memes, the Capcom logo will suffice.
I totally thought the same thing… if this is the “announcement” I will really ban Capcom games from my games library like I did for Activision since the MW2 thing with Infinity Ward…
I agree that if this becomes the announcement Capcom will loose all their respect to me, even if this looks cool, it really doesn’t compare with a full fledge game.
Of course, I know we’ve been asking for a MH in a mobile platform, but we meant 3ds or Vita, not a cell phone or a tablet.
I don’t see this being the announcement, since it has not even officially been announced for release outside of Japan.
I remembered back when Capcom came up with “MH Unexpected announcement” coming ahead on famitsu and BAM!! “MH Poka Poka Airu Puzzle.”
Well, we clearly didn’t see it coming…
Well… Capcom did promise us a new Monster Hunter game before the end of the year… Maybe this is what they’re talking about (I’m not serious but I sure as heck hope I’m not right) My only criticism is that Dynamic Hunting had some pretty screwy controls…
